Siena Voted Best for Families

Posted On: 8/2/2016 10:00 AM

The Siena School would like to thank everyone who voted for us in Washington FAMILY Magazine’s 2016 “Best for Families” Survey.  We are honored and grateful to have been voted Best Special Needs School as well as Runner-Up for Best Private High School.

At The Siena School, we pride ourselves in preparing bright, college-bound students with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia, to become confident, curious learners who understand their personal strengths and gain the tools and strategies to excel.  Siena's faculty and staff work collaboratively with students, parents and professionals to create a nurturing but rigorous learning environment.

A special thank you is extended to those families who not only voted for us, but also shared stories of why they know Siena is the best fit for their children.

One parent commented, “Siena embraces [our daughter's] learning differences and reminds her that because her brain works differently, it is just a matter of finding the right way to get the information to her… She is challenged by the depth of Siena's curriculum content and is constantly acquiring and strengthening her skills which allow her to learn the content. Siena also teaches its students how to advocate for themselves, a skill which is integral to life-long skill success. “

Another parent added, “I continue to be amazed and grateful at how clearly [our daughter's] teachers see her for all of her gifts and can clearly identify ways to address her challenges.”

Thank you again. We are honored to provide the best educational environment for your exceptional students!
